To submit photos of district activations, events and exercises, please follow the photo submission guidelines below.

Photo Submissions

Photos should be submitted as soon as possible after an event for inclusion on the web site.  Photos should be reduced to a maximum size of 2 MB each.

Guidelines for Submitting Photos via Email

Photos should be attached to an email and sent to broken down into messages no more than 10 MB in size.  The subject of the email should contain the name of the event, activation, or exercise the photos pertain to, so they can be found among the constant flow of spam to the same address.

Guidelines for Submitting Photos via Physical Media

Alternately, a physical media type (CD, DVD, Flash Media, etc.) may be provided and delivered in person to the Webmaster or Technology Officer.  Other arrangements can be made upon request to the Webmaster at

Guidelines for Submitting Photos via FTP

Photos may be uploaded directly to the district FTP site by all current members through an FTP client connected to with the standard member login.  Photos should be uploaded to the directory that corresponds to the date and event the photos pertain to:

  1. After logging in, navigate to the "D24 Pictures/YEAR/EVENT" directory.
  2. Create a new directory within the EVENT directory, labeled as your call sign (e.g. EVENT/w0dtf).  This will help the webmaster give you credit for your submissions.
  3. Upload your photos into the new directory.
  4. Send an email to to notify the webmaster of your submissions.
